RestORATION - Fruitful
The restoration work of Fruitful (KY40) was undertaken in the Scottish Fisheries Museum boatyard, thanks to the collaboration in between museum staff, volunteers and trainees. The boat was built by Miller of St. Monans in 1955.
The works took more than one year and the target was to bring back the original look of the vessel which was changed consistently by the various owners. She will not be in use as a fishing boat anymore, however she will take part to maritime festivals and cruising along Scotland coasts as a heritage boat. |
